When you see that the server has back but still showing the same Valorant Error Code 5 then there are several ways to fix that too.
Restart Riot Client & PC & Router
As the server is up but still showing the same error, then the first thing you have to do is restart the Riot Client, after restarting the Riot Client, try to open the Balorant and if it shows the same error then close Valorant and restart your PC. If you see still not working then try to restart your router which will help you to troubleshoot your wifi or home network or whatever you are using. Reinstall Riot Vanguard
One of the best anti-cheat software is Riot vanguard and Sometimes the Valorant Error Code 5 still stays because of this Vanguard, that’s why try to uninstall it and then re-install to prevent this. To be honest, when I face the Valorant Error Code 5, i always close the game and take some time then when I open it after some minutes or maybe an hour, the game easily and smoothly runs, and sometimes I do have to Restart Riot Client and PC but never had to uninstall vanguard or either game. So I will suggest you just wait for some minutes or maybe an hour then you will able to play.
