Razer introduced a new keyboard at its higher-end, the Razer Huntsman V2 Analog ($190 with the linear switches or $200 for the clicky buttons), but it still does not provide response loss to many gamers. The new keyboard’s analog switches are removed, including the USB passthrough and RGB wrist rest. Although it still prides itself on its various comfortable tactile features, including a precise, tactile and reprogrammable volume wheel, the Huntsman V2 replaces the Razer Huntsman Elite, a tough act to follow top-selling keyboard previously.
Razer aims to provide the Huntsman v2 with an exceptional 8,000 Hz polling rate by utilizing computer keys that supply you with eight times more reporting each sec frequently than standard gaming keyboards. That might sound minor, but you will not be able to fail to appreciate the sound dampening foam inherent to Razer’s Huntsman lineup.
In the end, the Razer Huntsman V2 makes for a fantastic gaming keyboard for those interested in light-based switches. If you do not prioritize light-based switches, this is still great gaming peripheral, although its cost may cause you to question it, such as the Corsair K100 RGB, which has some enticing bonus features that the Huntsman V2 lacks.
